For this project, I was randomly assigned a famous modernist house. In this case, VI House. I was tasked with drafting the plans by hand, making a 1/16" model of the house, and diagramming the house.

I decided the best way to understand the house was to replicate Eisenman's diagrams. At first glance the diagrams were quite intimidating to me. Like.... How did he do that? How did he design an entire house based off of these diagrams?!?!?! Fortunately, I decided it would be beneficial for me to just recreate the diagrams, and I am so glad that I did. As I went through the process of creating the diagrams, it became much easier for me to understand the house itself, which in turn made it much easier for me to build the model.
